This Privacy Policy describes how Monoru ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects the personal information of our Clients, Authorized Users, Vendors, Clients' Employees, and any other individuals whose personal data is disclosed to us (hereby referred as "you"). Capitalized terms used but not otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning ascribed to them in our Terms of Service.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Monoru website, as well as all related sites, applications, and services, regardless of how you access or use them. If you are an individual accessing or using our services directly, you must be at least 18 years old.
How Do We Protect Your Personal Information
- We are required and obliged to collect personal information from you directly or indirectly via our registered users or other third parties, such as Vendors, in accordance with Indonesian laws and regulations. Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology will be used to encrypt all Instructions and/or Transactions.

- We may share your personal information with authorized third-party partners (hereby referred to as “Strategic Partners”) who assist us with processing your requests or identifying you in order to properly serve the Client. By registering and using our services, you grant us and the relevant Strategic Partners permission to process your information for the purposes described above.
- We cannot guarantee the security of your data during transmission over the internet. However, once we receive your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to protect your personal data.
Information We May Collect From You
- You are obligated to provide us with true and accurate information about yourself by filling in forms to register on our application or via correspondence (e.g., through our website). The information you provide may include your name, address, email address, phone number, financial information, payment reasons and details, photo, and personal description.
- In order to comply with our anti-money laundering obligations or other compliance obligations under applicable law, we may request additional information from you when you send or receive certain Instructions and/or Transactions.
- When providing the personal data of any individual other than yourself, you are required to obtain the permission or consent from the respective individual to disclose his or her personal data to us for the purpose of using our services. We may request that you provide relevant supporting documents (e.g., Power of Attorney or Employment Letter).
- We may collect information about you automatically through Instruction and/or Transaction details, technical information such as your Internet Protocol (IP), and information we receive from other sources. When you use our services, we may conduct background checks and gather information about you from third parties and publicly available sources.
We Use Your Information in the Following Ways
- We use your information to provide you with the information you request regarding our products and services;
- We use your information to execute our contractual obligations and deliver the services, including facilitating internal approval workflows, managing procurement records, and transmitting necessary Transaction data to our designated Strategic Partners to process your financial Transactions;
- We use your information for security, safety, and due diligence purposes, as well as to conduct our anti money-laundering measures, whether for internal purposes or as required by the relevant government authorities or our Strategic Partners;
- We use your information to administer our services and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical analysis, and surveys;
- We use your information for advertising and marketing purposes;
- We use your information to provide you with information about other similar services we offer.
We may share your personal data with our parent company, subsidiaries, corporate affiliates, and/or Strategic Partners to facilitate the provision of our Services, conduct internal audits, and process financial Transactions seamlessly as part of our integrated ecosystem.

By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, your data will be stored for no longer than 5 years from the date your account is created, the date of your Transaction, or the date your account is closed, as applicable. The data stored in our backup system is retained strictly for legal compliance purposes and will not be used for any other purposes.
Your Rights When Using Our Service
- You have the right to access your data on our platform;
- You have the right to modify your data, provided that the changes are true and accurate;
- You have the right to close your account;
- You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold;
